Summer time, summer breeze, it's time to enjoy the jazz during the summer night, Ricky is scheduled to perform in Java Jazz the coming Thursday and Friday (July 27 & July 28);if you enjoy jazz, come over and check it out. Guitar Teacher - Welcome new students

Ricky has been busy this week, he is teaching a few new students, if you want to learn Guitar or just refresh your skill, feel free to call him at (604) 272-7929.
Ricky's students are from 10 years old to 50 years old, some are beginner, some are playing in the praising team in the church. Summer is the good time to put your kids to learn Guitar, playing music is the way to express your feeling, it's a way to keep them busy and learn a new skill,they can just stay home and not going outside(stay away from trouble) or just watching TV and staying with the computer all day! Being a parent we want our kids to be good and guiding them step by step in their life, that's how we show the love to them, to care for their future.

"Ricky and Henry" are coming up soon, they are both very good in Jazz tunes, they are looking for places to share their music with the public, if you own a restaurant/Pub and would like some Jazz mood for the customers, please call Ricky at the above number. Jazz is the kind of music everyone would appreciate, the musician must have certain standard in the music field, normally people loves Jazz, they love to enjoy life....., that's my kind of idea.

Java Jazz Bistro

If you ever have a mood of Jazz, Java Jazz Bistro is the best place to go, the food is good and the music is fantastic, you will always find some good tunes every night, Ed and Salve; the owners are Ricky good friend, they all have the same background, they have the music in their blood and bones, they are the real musicians, they have performed from East to West, you name it, they sing it... what's a beautiful music, they have the full band in jazz last night, Ed is on Piano, Ricky is on Guitar and Bass, Archie is on Drum, Salve sings a good tune and Vera on Vocal too, Henry is on Guitar for a couple of songs, it's a beautiful combination, I wish I have the Camera with me, that is a beautiful night for the Jazz lovers, check it out yourself when you have time and I will keep you posted when Ricky is playing there again. La La La.... The music is always on in Java Jazz Bistro, you don't need a friend to go with, you will always meet a friend there, because Salve is such a warm and happy host ever, she will always make you feel at home, good music good food good people, that's the place you need to hang around, see you there one day.

Looking for gigs

Wow, after my holiday in Maui, I am totally still in a Maui mood, I am very excited about this trip, I saw the sunrise and I saw the sunset, I survived driving to HANA, it's pretty narrow and winding road, I made it and I love the waterfall, we took a lot of pictures, we must go back again. To all my musician friends, I am in town again, please call me I'm available for any kind of gigs right now, maybe blues or jazz or pop, I'm a very flexible kind of musician; if you have any gig,don't hesitate to call me becuse I've played for so many years, all I did was to play music all my life from Japan to Hong Kong to Vegas to Canada,

To everyone who find this Web., thank you God to answer my prayer, thank you John Chow & Sara giving me all these tips, finally I have a day off to start this Web for Ricky, Ricky is my Babe, which means my love one, I wish one day Ricky will be known in this world, he is so gifted with playing guitar, he plays music all his life, he is so good at it, from Rock & Roll to Jazz. What he needs is a good agent who will help him to produce his music, he has tried for so many years in Vancouver, he played with so many bands, he has accomplished to create some Chinese Gospel songs and other songs for other artists in Vancouver. Vancouver is a beautiful place to live, but many artists are still struggling to make a living in this place!
